The William Tell Zero is AudioQuest's copper-conductor entry into their Folk Hero series, sitting between the Robin Hood and the Mythical Creatures lineup. It uses solid Perfect-Surface Copper+ (PSC+) conductors in a double-balanced geometry with foamed polyethylene insulation and a carbon-based linearized noise-dissipation system. The 72V Dielectric-Bias System runs continuously to keep the dielectric polarized. It functions equally well as a full-range single-wire cable or as the high/mid leg in a bi-wire configuration paired with William Tell BASS cables. A well-regarded cable that holds its value relative to retail.

AudioQuest was founded in 1980 by Bill Low in Southern California and has grown into one of the most widely distributed high-performance cable brands in the world, with a presence in roughly 65 countries. The company's core focus has always been conductor purity, geometry, and noise management — work that evolved from solid-core and directional construction in the 1980s to today's PSC+ copper, Perfect-Surface Silver, and proprietary technologies like ZERO-Tech and the Dielectric-Bias System. In addition to their extensive cable lineup, AudioQuest produces the widely used DragonFly DAC series and Niagara power-conditioning products.
